Pytanie: What crash pad would you recommend for bouldering?

( Wstecz )

Answer #1:

You really can't go wrong with the BD Mondo. Other contenders are the Metolius Behemoth, Organic Fullpads, etc. You have several good options.

A highball pad and small & convenient don't really match. In that case perhaps buy a second medium size pad and pack either or both depending on the occasion.

There's lots of discussion threads about crash pads in the forums at Click Here and Click Here The later site is less moderated and hardly ever on-topic. Hence vastly more entertaining imo... but not necessarily more informative.

Answer #2:

''cordless''
The old small metolius could B a CC chair BTW

My skill level has outgrown the small starter crash pad I currently have.wtf R U 2 skilled 2 fall ?''

It would be pretty exciting, and it is lightweight. might take a while to set up, tho...

Answer #4:

go with an organic fullpad. good size and great build. in most cases a mondo is going to be a little bit larger and bulkier than you want. organic really has the industries best foam and ive taken many falls on them. another cool thing about them is that you can get custom colors/designs at no extra cost. your friend has a flashed air pad? those are pretty cool and definitely can catch a fall, but they have issues with buckles and straps breaking.

Answer #5:

You need to rest on the merit of earned laurels.
No pain - no gain.
