The best training for bouldering is bouldering. You can mix it up with some roped routes to work on endurance, but other than that just hit the boulder problems 2-3 times a week and climb hard. There's usually small groups of guys working problems together, taking turns. It can help if you join a few guys who climb at your own level or a tiny bit better. It's easier to stay motivated and learn new techniques that way.
You can also create your own routes when you're with a group to make things more entertaining. With extension routes, one guy starts with 3 holds and every person to try that route next adds a hold - the route keeps getting longer. Or eliminates, where you start out with a longish route where every hold is permitted and every person to complete it picks a hold that can't be used by the next guy - pretty soon enough holds get eliminated to make the route very challenging.
Keep trying routes that are a tiny bit beyond your current abilities and climb until you're pooped. Also watch guys who can send these problems with ease and study their technique.
Chin-ups and powerballs are good for training your back and arms, but the bottleneck is usually hand/ finger strength. To train that at home you could get a campus board like one of these: Click Here , but I'd try to just climb more instead.
