Pytanie: Navy Medical Waivers for orthoscopic surgery on my shoulder?

( Wstecz )

Answer #1:

Trying to predict the outcome of a waiver request is impossible. Even highly experienced recruiters who submit them on a regular basis can't make a prediction.

Answer #2:

There are too many variables to give you a good answer. Waivers usually hinge on the needs of the Navy, and you would at the very least have to try and get into an undermanned rate. The best you can do is submit everything and await the outcome. I had disk replacement surgery and had to get a waiver, and let me tell you it was not easy. I probably could have had my mail delivered to MEPS I was there so often. It took over 4 months, and I think what helped me is I already had a slot in the undermanned rate I wanted. Good luck, and I wish you the best.
