No equipment require other than the city streets.
Answer #2:
If you wanna go really cheap, take your mattress or get some cheap heavy foam pads and g bouldering outside. There really isnt any equipment required for bouldering (other than the pad).Answer #3:
Seeing that you haven't been climbing very long you probably haven't developed too much finger strength. This means that time off from climbing won't effect you as much as if you were previously climbing on crazy small crimps ext.. you should use your time off to develop you core and arms. Find a strong door frame, pull-up bar, or tree and just do pull ups and lock-offs. And then whatever abs exercises work for you. If you really work at it you could be even stronger for climbing when you return =-)Answer #4:
Dang that's expensive! Try ClimbFind.com you'll be able to meet up with climbers in your area who you can go climbing outdoors with. Fortunately, bouldering doesn't take a whole lot of outdoor experience, all you need is a crashpad or two. I have no idea where you live, so I can't suggest any crags, but I use that website a lot when I'm going trad climbing (my rack is lacking) or when we go bouldering somewhere and we can only get our hands on 2 crashpads. It's legit. However, if you don't want to meet anyone online (I understand that) or you find outdoor climbing very frustrating as it is MUCH different than indoor, go with what Wess said. Especially since you're a boulderer, you should definitely work on your core muscles. You can also try pull-ups on doorframes and my personal favorite is to find small retaining walls that are made out of rock (or my fireplace ;]) and traverse those. That will keep your fingers 1) callused and 2) you'll build up more strength and keep your endurance up.
