Pytanie: Home Bouldering Wall Padding?
( Wstecz )
Answer #1:
Old mattresses work. Futon mattresses are best because they usually compress more slowly, distributing the force of the fall, and they fold up better for storage. I've got an old thick queen futon mattress that I inherited when a friend moved out of state and it's held up under my bouldering wall for years. If you're really lucky you can get an old gymnastic mat. They are designed for high impact falls and also tend to be more weather resistant. If you make you own try to layer closed cell foam (like the packing material in some electronics) over open cell foam (like in a really cheap futon pad) to help distribute the impact of falling.** Powered by Yahoo Answers
