Pytanie: My Life in a Nutshell: Mom with cancer, life at home college Advice?

( Wstecz )

Answer #1:

Honestly, I didn't read all of that - but I got the jist, and skipped ahead to Full Scholarship Room and Board!!!!! That is a big deal no matter where it's from - and community colleges don't offer room and board because they do not have dorms.
My advice as a junior in college at a second tier university is take this scholarship (or another like it if something even better comes along) and use it to start a life for yourself. While you are at school get a small job on campus to save some money for yourself to rely on when you are done with school and looking for a job or another scholarship to get a master's...
Congrats this is something to be very proud of and I wish I was lucky (worthy) enough to have the same offer!

Answer #2:

I am sorry you are going through this(seems like on your own). But you need to really think about what you want to do. You have every right to go to the college of your choice I think they are giving you a hard time to keep you from going away. Because then they would have to step up and contribute more of themselves. Not to sound mean but in the long run you have to do what works for you, not everyone around you. Best of luck in whatever you decide & with your mom.
